About the RoleThe Saikind Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service and possesses a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu, ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards.
- Serve a variety of beverages with excellent knowledge of the beverage menu.
- Develop complete knowledge of all products offered by the bar such as wines, cocktails, beers, armagnacs, cognacs, spirits, and all other beverages.
- Perform all opening and closing tasks at the bar, including table set‑up and bar area tidying.
- Maintain bar stock levels, ensuring proper replenishment at all times.
- Report all incidents or atypical situations immediately to the Saikind Beverage Director and Head Bartender.
- Confirm guest orders, including special needs or requests, using the hotel’s point‑of‑sales system and verify orders with guests.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions while responding promptly to guest concerns and requests.
- Communicate with guests and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listening to understand requests and providing accurate information.
- Assist with bar inventory and perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Saikind Floor Manager, Saikind Beverage Director, Assistant Director of F&B, and Hotel Manager.
- One to two years of previous experience as a Bartender in a food & beverage outlet.
- College education or equivalent experience.
- Previous employment experience in a similar position at other luxury hotels is an added advantage.
- Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.
- Proficiency operating computer equipment and food & beverage computer systems.
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
- Working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to proactively anticipate and prioritize guest needs.
- Energetic and professional approach to the craft of bartending.
