As a Food & Beverage Supervisor with bar experience, you will support the smooth operation of the Food & Beverage outlets by ensuring exceptional service delivery, beverage quality, and guest satisfaction. You will supervise daily operations, lead and support the F&B team, and ensure that service standards are consistently delivered in line with IHG brand expectations. You will assist in achieving departmental revenue goals through effective upselling, cost control, and delivering memorable dining and bar experiences for our guests.
Alittle taste of your day-to-day:
- Deliver a warm, friendly, and personalized guest experience in line with Holiday Inn and IHG service standards.
- Ensure food and beverage service is delivered efficiently, professionally, and consistently.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines, and bar operations to support guest needs.
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain outlet presentation, cleanliness, and ambiance to create an enjoyable guest environment.
- Supervise and support F&B colleagues during daily operations, ensuring effective teamwork and service excellence.
- Conduct shift briefings and communicate daily priorities, promotions, and operational updates.
- Monitor beverage sales, inventory levels, and wastage to maximize profitability.
- Promote upselling of beverages, cocktails, promotions, and menu items to increase revenue opportunities.
- Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and compliance with financial procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety standards.
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices and ensure compliance with local licensing regulations.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage experience, with proven bar operations knowledge.
- Previous supervisory experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bar environment is preferred.
Knowledge of POS systems and inventory control procedures is an advantage. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, guest-focused, positive, and highly professional. You should possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service while working collaboratively with your team.
