Assistant Chief Butler

YOUR ROLE

As Assistant Chief Butler, you will support the day‑to‑day leadership of the Butler department, ensuring seamless, thoughtful, and intuitive service at every stage of the guest experience. You will act as a key liaison between guests and internal teams, anticipating needs, elevating touchpoints, and personalizing each stay. Your role contributes directly to maintaining Rosewood’s legendary standards, enhancing guest satisfaction, and strengthening interdepartmental collaboration.

• Oversee daily Butler operations to ensure exceptional and personalized service for all guests.
• Coordinate the full guest journey, including pre‑arrival, arrival, in‑room experience, stay, departure, and post‑stay follow‑up.
• Observe guest preferences and ensure they are documented and consistently executed across the team.
• Lead and support butler staff through training, coaching, and regular quality inspections.
• Act as a liaison with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Manage special attention guests, including personalized amenities, in‑room dining service, and airport pick‑up/drop‑off arrangements.

• 2–3 years of experience as a Butler Supervisor or in a luxury guest service role within a 5‑star hotel.
• Expertise in creating personalized, detail‑oriented guest experiences and maintaining discretion at all times.
• Excellent communication skills with clarity, warmth, and confidence, ensuring guests feel cared for and colleagues feel supported.
• Highly organized, able to multitask, and comfortable leading a team in a fast‑paced luxury environment.
• Proficient with hotel systems such as Opera, KC, 360, and quickly adapt to new technology.
• Strong knowledge of local attractions and ability to craft memorable and bespoke guest recommendations.
