We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Room Attendant to join our hospitality team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms, you will deliver exceptional housekeeping services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care.

- Provide consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests while respecting their privacy and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms, suites, and public areas in accordance with established hotel standards and procedures.
- Perform comprehensive housekeeping duties, including making beds, changing linens, dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming carpets, cleaning floors, and thoroughly sanitizing bathrooms.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure a spotless appearance throughout guest areas.
- Remove trash and used items from rooms promptly and dispose of them in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities in a timely and organized manner.
- Inspect rooms thoroughly to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and functionality of all equipment and fixtures.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and linen closets in an organized, clean, and efficient manner.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning tasks, and room preparations as assigned.
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and willingness to support team needs during peak periods.
- Cooperate and comply with OSH instructions and safe working procedures.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves, the environment, and others at work.
- Use appropriate PPE and safety systems.
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Attend OSH training as required.
- Follow applicable OSHMS procedures.
- Raise identified OSH issues with designated persons and participate in consultative arrangements.
- Maintain all OSHMS records as required.
- Authority – to stop any hazardous activity within the workplace, to be consulted by the direct manager or supervisor, to receive information, training, supervision and instruction from management, to have specific job descriptions and inductions on OSH responsibilities, to report hazards and receive feedback, and to participate in OSH matters such as risk assessments, incident investigations, PPE selections, hazard control selections, and management of change processes.
- Accountability – regular reporting to direct manager, adherence to procedural negligence rules, attendance at trainings and TBT, abide by local OSH, safety, and food‑safety regulatory frameworks, safeguard self and equipment use, protect others affected by one's work, and perform according to provided job descriptions.
- Sustainability – implement sustainability policies and procedures within the department, follow environmental SOPs, monitor waste segregation, energy and water use, identify opportunities for waste reduction and energy and water efficiency improvements, report environmental issues and non‑compliance, provide environmental and sustainability orientation to new colleagues, and participate in hotel‑relevant CSR activity.
