Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations in a high-volume catering environment and ensure excellent service delivery.
- Oversee day to day catering operations in a high volume service environment, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Ensure service quality standards are consistently met and continuously improved in line with company and client expectations
- Lead, supervise, and motivate catering staff to achieve operational excellence and productivity targets
- Coordinate closely with kitchen, logistics, stores, and site teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
- Monitor and enforce hygiene, food safety, and HSE compliance in accordance with company policies and client standards
- Supervise food preparation, presentation, and portion control to maintain quality and consistency
- Manage functions and events setup and service, ensuring adherence to service timelines and specifications
- Handle and execute orders, requisitions, and inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimal wastage
- Address client feedback, complaints, and operational issues promptly and effectively
- Conduct regular checks on equipment, service areas, and staff readiness
- Prepare operational reports and elevate issues to management when required
- Up to 3 years of experience in catering or food service operations
- Relevant experience in the catering industry, preferably in the Middle East / UAE
- Proven experience in managing high volume catering operations
- Strong team leadership, supervisory, and people management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Hands on experience in functions and events setup and service
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HSE standards
- Experience in inventory management, requisitions, and cost control
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and project based or remote locations if required
