This non-management role supports Food and Beverage operations through guest interaction, interdepartmental coordination, accurate communication, and the use of computer and point of sale systems. The position combines operational support with direct guest service.

• Assist other hotel departments when required to maintain effective guest service.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Enter, retrieve, and manage work-related information using computers and point of sale systems.
• Exchange operational information with colleagues using electronic communication tools such as email, pagers, and two-way radios.
• Read and visually verify information presented in different formats, including small print.
• Support coordinated Food and Beverage operations through accurate and timely communication.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Engage guests in professional conversation about their stay, available property services, and attractions or activities in the surrounding area. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to established standards, anticipate and respond to service needs, assist individuals with disabilities when required, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Clear communication is an important part of this position. The Food and Beverage Coordinator must communicate professionally with guests and colleagues, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette. The role also requires positive working relationships across departments, support for common team goals, and an appropriate response to concerns raised by colleagues.

The position may require standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or throughout an entire work shift. Candidates must also be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
