C2i - Hostess - Dhaba Kitchen

Dhaba began by the warmth of Chef Enayatullah Safi's grandmother's tandoor in Afghanistan. His journey carried him through the streets of India, which gave Dhaba its soul, and into the kitchens of Copenhagen, where he learned precision and respect for every ingredient. Now, in Abu Dhabi, all of those chapters come together at one table.

At Dhaba, hospitality means making every guest feel like family, and that feeling starts at the door. We are looking for warm, polished Hosts to join our pre-opening team and create a memorable first impression for every guest.

Reporting to the Restaurant Supervisor and Restaurant Manager, you will be the first and last face our guests see, welcoming them with genuine warmth, managing reservations and seating, and keeping the floor flowing smoothly.

• Welcome every guest warmly and escort them to their table
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and the waitlist through the reservation system
• Plan seating to balance sections and keep service running smoothly
• Answer calls, emails and booking enquiries professionally
• Communicate with the service team on arrivals, special requests and VIP guests
• Note guest preferences, allergies and special occasions
• Bid guests a warm farewell and invite them back
• Keep the host stand and entrance area tidy and welcoming
• Follow grooming and brand presentation standards at all times

• At least 1–2 years' experience as a Host or Hostess in premium casual, fine dining or five-star hospitality
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
• Experience with reservation systems such as Seven Rooms or Open Table
• A warm, confident personality and polished, professional appearance
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Calm and composed during busy periods
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
