We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to maintain guest rooms, public areas, and assigned facilities to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, comfort, and presentation. This role will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other hotel departments to ensure rooms are prepared efficiently and guests receive a comfortable and pleasant experience. • Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and designated public areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, replace bed linen and towels, and arrange rooms to the required standard.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, floors, and other room facilities.
• Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, towels, drinking water, and other in-room supplies.
• Ensure assigned rooms are cleaned and prepared within the required timeframe.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damages, missing items, and maintenance issues before completion.
• Report maintenance defects, damaged equipment, safety concerns, and unusual conditions to the supervisor.
• Respond to guest requests for additional towels, amenities, pillows, and other housekeeping services.
• Handle lost-and-found items according to established hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage rooms, linen rooms, and service areas.
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment correctly and safely.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and minimize unnecessary waste.
• Maintain accurate room status updates and housekeeping records where required.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects, seasonal cleaning, public-area cleaning, and other housekeeping activities when required.
• Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality of guest belongings and information.
• Follow hotel hygiene, health, safety, security, and service standards at all times. (

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel operations, cleaning services, or a related role is preferred.
• Previous hotel experience is an advantage, but suitable entry-level candidates may also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and service-oriented attitude.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and hotel standards.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and sanitation procedures is an advantage.
• Ability to handle guest requests politely and professionally.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a housekeeping team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required. (
• Basic English communication skills are preferred; additional languages are an advantage.
• Primary education, SPM, high school diploma, or equivalent qualification is preferred. (Joblum)
