Job DescriptionThe Human Resource Manager (HR Manager) will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including strategic planning for staffing, talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, employee relations, employment law and compliance, compensation and employee benefits administration, developing HR systems, and enforcing company policies and practices. Should be well versed with UAE, KSA and Philippines labour laws (including pension laws and benefits).
The HR manager partners with senior leadership to advise on best practice techniques to drive performance, productivity and employee engagement. The job involves Identifying skills gaps and filling them with new staff or by training existing employees.
Duties and Responsibilities- Oversees the daily workflow of the HR department.
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Enforce management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Establish a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program, counselling managers on candidate selection.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resource management and talent acquisition.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counselling employees and supervisors.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
- Support the management on disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource law requirements and maintaining records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Masters in HR Management or similar
- Proven experience as HR Manager in Architectural , Engineering and Consultancy services.
- Knowledge of/experience with UAE & KSA labour laws and disciplinary procedures
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
- Experience in educating and coaching HR staff.
- Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
