Responsibilities
- Support the business on a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk and commercially focused issues
- Assist with corporate governance, policies, and compliance-related work
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and external counsel where required
- Operate with discretion and professionalism in a government-facing environment
- Senior Associate–level lawyer (7+ years’ PQE)
- Common law qualified (e.g., UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada)
- Solid experience across corporate and commercial law
- Currently based in the UAE, with willingness to work in Abu Dhabi
- Comfortable working on a contract/secondment basis, including holding (or obtaining) a freelance or spousal visa
This role will begin as an initial three-month contract, with a strong view to extension (typically a further 3–6 months). There is also a clear contract-to-permanent pathway over the longer term, subject to performance and business needs.
