An Abu Dhabi-based agribusiness group operates both within the UAE and internationally, focusing on high-quality production, innovative technology, and efficient resource use.

This full-time, on-site Head of Supply Chain Management position involves managing daily procurement, contracts, logistics, and warehouse operations. Additionally, the role includes overseeing fresh produce pack house management.

The candidate will ensure seamless operations across all units, coordinating with external suppliers and other directors. They will leverage qualified resources to provide necessary support.

• Manage daily procurement activities, contracts, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Oversee fresh produce pack house management.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and other directors to ensure smooth operations.
• Design and optimize processes in agricultural operations.
• Financial planning and evaluation of project documents.
• Estimate cash requirements based on supplier needs and existing credit terms.

• BSc Degree in Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Economics preferred; MBA is a plus.
• Certifications in Agricultural Operations are desirable.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CSCP, SCOR-P, CLTD) are advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of senior management experience, with at least 5 years at a Director level.
• 5-10 years of experience in sourcing agricultural goods and services.
• Extensive experience with mature and integrated ERP environments in large-scale operations.
• Experience in corporate settings with a focus on governance, compliance, and process standards.
• Extensive experience in contract negotiation, procurement, and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Proven project management experience, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in agricultural operations and projects such as

• Setup of greenhouses and net houses
• Open field operations
• Agricultural machinery

They must also be proficient in financial planning, evaluating project documents, and estimating cash requirements based on supplier needs and existing credit terms.
