Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in landscape and related infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and successfully delivering complex projects within schedule and budget.

This role requires a motivated and technically competent professional capable of leading all aspects of project delivery, including coordination with third parties, stakeholder management, authority liaison, and integration with adjoining works. The Project Manager will serve as the key point of contact between the internal team, consultants, and the Client—ensuring that project objectives are achieved efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

The

role will include
  • Participate in studying business opportunities including preparing level of efforts estimates and technical methodologies
  • Lead and manage projects. This shall include but not limited to the day to day management of project activities, client relationships, resources management and technical input and financial management.
  • Ensure best practice in the company's project delivery methods
  • Ensure delivery of projects within time and budget. Ensure meeting client expectations to promote continuous business from known clients.
  • Manage the project contractually and ensure scope and cost management as per best practices.
  • Manage the permitting activity with local authorities. This shall include personal involvement as well as coaching and guiding of others within the company to achieve smooth and quick permitting.
  • Identify personnel needs for project requirements in the process of developing project plans, help HR in identifying and interview qualified project team candidates.
  • Involve in project onboarding processes and other essential project training needs as well.
  • Coach junior project managers and elevate team morale. Provide leadership by building project teams and motivating them to hit project milestones. Building and training project teams to expand their capabilities by establishing best practices, policies, PM methodologies, quality assurance and control, tools, and templates.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects, including day-to-day coordination of activities, client relations, resource planning, technical oversight, and financial control.
  • Oversee technical aspects of the project, including design coordination, interface management, and integration with adjacent works.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and coordinate with local authorities to facilitate permitting and approvals; provide guidance to the team to ensure timely submissions.
  • Participate in business development activities such as preparing level-of-effort estimates, methodologies, and project proposals.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with company standards, client expectations, and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee scope and cost management in accordance with best practices and company procedures.
  • Support HR in identifying staffing needs, interviewing potential project team members, and facilitating project onboarding and training.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers or assistant project managers to build capability and enhance team performance.
  • Promote best practices in project management methodologies, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise reports and presentations to clients and senior management.
Job Requirements

Required Candidate Profile:

  • Western Educated Professional affiliation.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with emphasis on Abu Dhabi experience with international consultants.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Recognized professional affiliation (e.g., PMP, PE, CEng, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on landscape and infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience working in Abu Dhabi with reputable international consultants (Dubai experience may also be considered).
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects successfully under tight timelines.
