Job Title: Head of Public Facilities and Services Department

Reporting To: Director, Institutional Empowerment Office
Responsible for leading and overseeing facilities management and public services across all academy locations. The role ensures effective maintenance operations, contract management, corporate health & safety compliance, and uninterrupted service delivery in line with approved policies, procedures, and business continuity plans. The position supervises facilities, classrooms, archiving, cleaning, security, hospitality, and related service contracts.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Management
Develop departmental goals, operational plans, KPIs, and monitor performance against targets.
Lead and guide the team to enhance service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Prepare and monitor the annual departmental budget in coordination with management.
Oversee recruitment recommendations, promotions, training needs, and performance evaluations.
Conduct regular team meetings and prepare periodic performance and activity reports.
Ensure documentation and compliance with all approved policies, procedures, and systems.
Supervise maintenance operations and coordinate service providers in line with business continuity plans.
Oversee facilities management, including classrooms and academy infrastructure.
Ensure delivery of cleaning, hospitality, archiving, protection, and security services.
Monitor contracts and agreements with suppliers, government entities, and external partners.
Establish supplier evaluation standards and oversee vendor selection processes.
Support negotiations with service providers to secure optimal commercial terms.
Ensure smooth coordination of administrative services, correspondence, visas, and residency matters.
Develop and oversee corporate health and safety policies and ensure compliance with local regulations and best practices.
Supervise implementation of occupational health and safety standards across academy facilities.
Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience during emergencies.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field.
6–8 years of experience in facilities management, public services, or a related field.
