Fleet Manager (Offshore)

We are hiring for a major global company in the maritime services sector to find a Fleet Manager for their offshore division.

The RoleBased in Abu Dhabi, you will take full management of a large fleet of offshore vessels. You will lead a significant technical and marine team, ensuring that assets are managed to the highest industry standards while keeping them commercially efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Lead and mentor a large team of Technical Superintendents and support staff to ensure accountability and high performance.
- Fleet Oversight: Oversee the full technical management of a fleet comprising OSVs, PSVs and AHTS vessels.
- Operations: Ensure high technical availability and reliability of vessels to meet strict charterer requirements.
- Budgets: You will hold full P&L responsibility for the fleet, managing OPEX and CAPEX. This includes dry docking and major repair projects.
- Safety: Drive the company safety culture and ensure strict adherence to Class, Flag State and international maritime regulations.
- Stakeholders: Act as the main technical point of contact for owners and clients.
We are looking for an experienced leader in the offshore space. You need the presence to lead large teams and the technical expertise to manage complex DP vessels.
- Experience: Extensive experience on shore as a Fleet Manager or Technical Manager is required.
- Vessel Knowledge: Deep technical understanding of Offshore Support Vessels, Platform Supply Vessels and Anchor Handling Tug Supply units.
- Leadership: A proven track record of managing large teams and remote vessel crews.
- Background: Ideally a former Chief Engineer or Master Mariner with significant technical management experience.
- Travel: You must be willing to travel internationally to visit vessels and clients.
- Location: This role is based in Abu Dhabi.
