Responsibilities
- Develop and lead commercial strategy and oversee major competitive tenders and proposals during the pre‑contract phase.
- Lead pre‑contract commercial proposal development and associated functions, including cost estimating, procurement, pricing, and partnering activities in coordination with other groups.
- Recognize business opportunities and submit proposals to clients.
- Strategically establish, expand, preserve, or improve company procedures, business flow, standards, or policies.
- Oversee contractual obligations from capture phase to contract closure, ensuring commitments are relevant and consistent.
- Oversee projects and monitor plans to ensure deadlines are met, projects remain within budget, and work meets quality standards.
- Provide commercial leadership to cross‑organizational teams, including Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams, ensuring the best financial outcomes for the group.
- Monitor periodic sales achievement and investigate gaps from the target.
- Lead the team to improve performance.
- Manage sales budget.
- Manage money collection in a timely manner.
- Continuously focus on enhancing ICV score with ADNOC.
- Manage direct and monitor overall performance of the commercial team.
- Lead commercial negotiations with clients.
- Develop plans for expansion and business development.
- 10+ years related experience in commercial and budget management.
- Sufficient experience in the oil and gas industry.
- University diploma or degree.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Success in sales or marketing and ability to manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of performance, financial, and budgeting processes.
- Strong decision‑making ability.
- Advanced negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to identify problems and take necessary steps to overcome them.
