Overview
Support the coordination and delivery of airline operational projects including new station start‑ups, ACMI readiness, aircraft introductions, regulatory approvals, and ad‑hoc operational projects. Act as a key operational coordinator across internal departments, regulators, airport authorities and service providers to ensure all operational and compliance requirements are tracked, progressed, and delivered in line with agreed timelines. The role focuses on execution, tracking and stakeholder coordination to ensure operational readiness is achieved efficiently, safely and in full regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain operational foreign regulatory permissions by researching new permit requirements, liaising with internal stakeholders, preparing documentation, tracking submission timelines, following up with foreign regulators, and ensuring on‑time renewals and continuous compliance.
- Support the delivery of new station readiness by coordinating business readiness to capture all requirements, track them, and deliver them in line with agreed timelines.
- Coordinate new aircraft deliveries ensuring business readiness requirements are captured, tracked and delivered in line with agreed timelines.
- Support seasonal readiness activities by assisting with managing readiness plans and meetings to identify operational constraints and implementing mitigation measures.
- Coordinate business operational readiness for ACMI out‑projects ensuring all operational safety and regulatory requirements are completed.
- Support the planning and execution of ad‑hoc operational activities such as charters, fly‑pasts, air shows and special events, ensuring all operational safety and regulatory requirements are met.
- Support the development and maintenance of Operations Planning procedures, templates and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or a project management qualification is an advantage.
- Previous management experience within the airline business in planning or a major operational department is essential, preferably with five years of experience.
