Job Summary
As the Assistant Manager - Security, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless daily operations and outstanding guest service standards within our 24/7 operating leisure facility. Your responsibilities span managing a team of external security colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence, and maintaining compliance with company policies and UAE regulations. You will oversee incident and crisis management, monitor surveillance systems, and coordinate security protocols to uphold a safe, secure, and hygienic environment for everyone.
This dynamic role requires proactive leadership in training, operational coordination, and emergency response while balancing scheduling, financial oversight, and regulatory adherence.
- Oversee daily security operations and ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues
- Supervise outsourced security team (scheduling, performance, grooming, and coaching)
- Monitor security systems, conduct patrols, and address any incidents or irregularities
- Respond to emergencies and ensure proper reporting and investigation of incidents
- Maintain compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and HSE standards
- Liaise with authorities and internal departments to support smooth operations
- Ensure high standards of guest service, including handling complaints when required
- Support training, drills, and ongoing development of the security team
Essential
- Higher Secondary or equivalent educational qualification
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or leisure industry
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Advanced problem‑solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven leadership and team performance capabilities
- Demonstrated time management and ability to handle complexity
- Fluent English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Strong incident investigation, reporting, and tracking budgetary expense skills
Desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree qualification
- 3 years of experience in a security supervisory role with a background in hospitality or leisure industry
- Skills in crisis management
- Surveillance expertise and strong analytical abilities
- Risk assessment and financial control capabilities
- Experience with fire fighting regulations and emergency response
- Fluent Arabic proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Competencies in training & development
