Head of Operations

Eden Rose is currently engaged with a financial institution within Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) who are seeking a Head of Operations to be responsible for end-to-end custody operations.

Reporting to the General Manager, the day‑to‑day management will involve trade settlement, asset servicing and safekeeping of digital securities for a diverse portfolio of sovereign companies, institutions and professional clients.

• Provide leadership and management to ensure proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures.
• Ensure effective team and systems are in place to effectively manage the custody operations.
• Develop and execute the operational strategy aligned with the growth targets.
• Lead automation and digitization efforts to introduce new products.
• Ensure adherence to local and global regulatory requirements.
• Oversee end‑to‑end management of private keys using MPC, HSMs, and cold‑storage protocols.
• Design and maintain the framework for wallet management.
• Manage atomic settlements and delivery‑versus‑payment (DvP) processes.
• Lead the operational support for digital securities on‑chain, including automated corporate actions via smart contracts.

The Head of Operations will hold a Bachelors' Degree in a relevant discipline, and have 8‑10 years’ expertise in custody operations in a global bank or CSD, of which 5 years in a senior managerial role. You will have an in-depth understanding of global clearing and settlement, custody operations, corporate action processing and asset servicing. Thorough knowledge of clearing, settlement and custody operations across asset classes.

You will have a sound understanding of financial markets and products, exchange operations and global regulatory requirements.
