Responsibilities
- Manage the supply chain activities of a portfolio of PF projects, ensuring adherence to project budgets, consistent on‑time delivery, and supplier quality performance.
- Provide experience‑based feedback to the tendering organization to align tender execution models with actual project requirements.
- Develop and maintain key supplier relationships for critical aspects of PF projects.
- Identify and deploy best practices across projects and lead the continuous improvement process for the supply chain.
- Manage sourcing and procurement phase responsibilities of PSLs and other functional team members.
- Create synergies between projects within the portfolio to achieve reduced pricing from suppliers.
- Engage in the tendering process to provide feedback on the expected execution model for each specific tender.
- At project start, establish the supply chain organization structure, fill it with required resources, and facilitate handover from tender to execution organization.
- Support finance in establishing the buying structure for the project, including entity BORG and AC AU codes as well as approval structures within the execution delivery phase.
- Monitor overall fulfillment plan, service delivery, and supply cost KPIs for the portfolio of projects assigned.
- Conduct weekly meetings with individual project supply leads to review schedule progress, budget versus actual spend, supplier quality issues, and supplier claims.
- Establish critical focal points for each project and liaise with Engineering and Construction function heads to mitigate risks and concerns.
- Set escalation points for suppliers and act as internal escalation point for related supplier disputes across the portfolio.
- Manage and maintain a list of key suppliers used across the portfolio, building relationships to obtain reduced pricing and delivery times for tenders and projects.
- Engage with local SSO team to integrate PF P&S procedures with local SSO P&S procedures for sourcing local suppliers, including construction.
- Analyze lessons learned from projects, such as PLG Gate J Execution Gates Closure.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in roles such as Project Supply Lead, Project Manager, or P&S Manager.
- Proven track record in managing product line spend versus budget.
- Experience ensuring on‑time project delivery according to the execution plan.
- Strong focus on supplier on‑time delivery (OTD) and quality defect management.
- Ability to keep spend within category plans.
