About the Job

Plan, supervise and coordinate preventive and spot maintenance of tanker terminal. Ensure safety and integrity of tanker terminal in accordance with approved standards. Ensure adherence to company policies, guidelines and port regulations with a focus on HSE compliance.

Job Specific Accountabilities Part 1
  • Supervise day‑to‑day tanker berth operational issues
  • Review daily performance reports and recommend corrective actions or modifications to work controls when deviations from scheduled achievements are identified
  • Supervise and follow up on preventive maintenance schedule to ensure readiness of tanker berths for loading operations
  • Monitor tanker berth spare parts and issue requisitions whenever required to maintain sufficient stock
  • Lead and supervise the execution of hoses replacement campaign
  • Supervise diving team and diving support vessel
  • Detect and identify limitations or work overloads due to lack of resources, and ensure provision of sufficient capital and material resources under the supervision of the section head or team leader
  • Interact with team leader, section head, contractor personnel or other team members to resolve conflicts and improve work outcomes
Job Specific Accountabilities Part 2
  • Participate in the development of the scope of works and technical specifications for marine units to ensure meeting project plan and service requirements
  • Carry out duties in line with company policies, procedures and directives from the line manager
  • Provide supervision, training and development activities for new personnel to support the organization’s succession plans
  • Ensure the conduct of toolbox talks prior to commencing work
  • Ensure HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives are effectively implemented
  • Other duties as directed by Marine Team Leader
  • Support and follow up on the development and training of UAE Nationals at all trade levels
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Certification / Maritime Studies
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the marine industry
Professional Certifications
  • Knowledge of Marine International Rules (STCW, ISM, ISO)
