Venue Manager; Ice Rink

The Venue Manager of Ice Rink is responsible for directing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Ice Rink. This role involves managing a team to ensure smooth and efficient operations, maintaining consistent performance, and delivering a high level of guest service excellence. The Venue Manager ensures that the Ice Rink is a safe, enjoyable, and efficient environment for guests, staff, and tenants alike.

• Oversee the daily operations of the Ice Rink, ensuring smooth execution of activities, including skating sessions, lessons, and events.
• Ensure all operational areas are well-organized and that guest experiences are consistently positive.
• Supervise staff to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with all operational procedures.

• Monitor and maintain the condition of the ice rink, ensuring that all machinery, skating equipment, and facilities are in proper working order.
• Act as the point of contact for any technical issues, providing clear instructions to staff on repairs and maintenance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing their needs and maintaining positive relationships.
• Ensure agreements are properly maintained and resolve any issues promptly to support successful long-term partnerships.

• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management that highlight operational performance, customer feedback, trends, and any operational issues.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity to maintain the Ice Rink’s competitive edge.

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in management or operations (e.g., Project Management, Hospitality Management) are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a leisure or entertainment venue, such as an ice rink, sports facility, or hospitality environment.
• Experience in managing tenant relationships and contracts.
• Basic understanding of financial reports and budget management.
• Familiarity with operational software for managing bookings, events, tenant agreements, and facility maintenance is a plus.
• Strong leadership abilities to motivate, manage, and develop a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and tenants.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
