About the Opportunity

One of the world's most ambitious AI transformation programmes, redesigning large-scale operational environments through the deployment of agentic AI, intelligent automation and enterprise AI capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced Head of AI Transformation & Domain Rewiring to establish and lead a new AI Delivery Function responsible for transforming multiple business domains, deploying production-ready AI solutions and building repeatable delivery frameworks that scale across the organisation.

This is a senior executive leadership position for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery and has successfully led enterprise AI transformation programmes at scale.

The Role

The Head of AI Transformation & Domain Rewiring will be responsible for building and leading a high‑performing AI transformation function from the ground up.

The successful candidate will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple AI transformation initiatives, build delivery capability, establish operating frameworks, manage strategic delivery partners and ensure measurable business outcomes across a large enterprise environment.

This role requires exceptional stakeholder management, operational leadership and deep knowledge of modern AI technologies, particularly Agentic AI and Large Language Models.

Key Responsibilities

Build & Lead the AI Delivery Function

• Establish and scale a dedicated AI Delivery Factory.
• Recruit, lead and develop a team of senior transformation and delivery leaders.
• Define delivery methodologies, governance frameworks and operating standards.
• Prioritise transformation initiatives based on business value, complexity and scalability.
• Drive execution across multiple concurrent AI programmes.

AI Transformation Delivery

• Lead the successful delivery of enterprise AI transformation programmes.
• Accelerate the deployment of production‑ready AI solutions across priority business functions.
• Ensure initiatives move beyond proof‑of‑concept into measurable operational impact.
• Remove delivery blockers and intervene where programme risks arise.
• Maintain close oversight of data readiness, infrastructure, security and integration challenges.

Executive Stakeholder Management

• Partner with executive leadership to define transformation priorities.
• Build strong relationships across business and technology functions.
• Present programme progress, risks and value realisation to senior leadership.
• Drive alignment across multiple business units throughout delivery.

Delivery Partner Management

• Manage strategic consulting and technology delivery partners.
• Establish performance standards focused on outcomes rather than activity.
• Develop reusable delivery playbooks, frameworks and AI capabilities that can be replicated across future programmes.
• Create scalable approaches for accelerating enterprise AI adoption.
• Define and monitor programme KPIs.
• Measure operational improvements, efficiency gains and AI adoption.
• Ensure every initiative delivers measurable commercial and operational value.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery teams and transformation programmes.

Required Experience

• 8+ years' experience leading large‑scale digital, technology or AI transformation programmes.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise AI initiatives into production.
• Experience building and scaling transformation functions or delivery organisations.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering through complex organisational environments.
• Experience managing external consulting partners and technology vendors.
• Strong commercial, operational and stakeholder management capabilities.

Technical Expertise

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of:

• Agentic AI
• AI orchestration frameworks
• AI governance and evaluation
• Data strategy and enterprise integration
• Modern cloud‑based AI platforms

Preferred Background

Experience in one or more of the following environments would be highly advantageous:

• Digital transformation programmes
• Public sector transformation
• AI‑first technology companies
• Complex operational environments
