SVP & Head of Sales and Distribution - Islamic

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ownership of design and delivery of the overall Sales and Distribution Vision and Strategic Plan which transforms the customer experience, revenue growth and reduces overall costs, working with key stakeholders across the group.
• Define the ongoing future channel operating model based on changing market landscape, industry developments and customer needs.
• Reducing the overall costs of routine transactions (In Branches and Call Centers) through the use of alternative channels, simplified processes and maximizing time spent on revenue generation and customer experience.
• Deliver the overall Alternative Channels (ATM/CDM) strategic plan.

Deliver against Balanced Scorecard

• Build a plan to deliver the overall annual balanced scorecard for Sales and Distribution in line with the strategy and Personal Banking Scorecard. This includes sales, service metrics, costs and governance obligations.
• Maximize sales and income growth within existing markets and by identifying new markets.
• Build a leads management strategy to maximize revenue growth from external customer leads.

Employee and Staff Banking

• Ownership of the overall Employee Banking Proposition.
• Build and deliver an Employee Banking Plan to enable FAB to become the first choice for Employee Banking.
• Work with key stakeholders and companies within CIB to develop and deliver the plan and growth.
• Staff Banking:
  Ownership and development of the Staff banking proposition and improvement / growth across FAB Personal Banking.

Retention

• Develop the overall retention strategy and plan across PBG, maximizing the retention resources to reduce overall customer attrition in line with the plan.

Alternative Channels – ATM/CDM

• Manage the ATM/CDM network across FAB (# 512 machines).
• Manage the performance levels, governance and the overall alternative channels P&L.

Retail Disciplines and Principles

• Design, deliver and embed consistent retail disciplines across all channels to transform customer experience and maximise revenue growth.

Management of Resources

• Management of resources across all channels within the overall costs budget, maximizing revenue, cost efficiencies and customer experience.

Colleagues

• Deliver a plan to maximize the engagement and overall culture of the team.
• Build effective customer support tools and communication frameworks for the front-line teams to help deliver the overall plan.
• Deliver a colleague plan that increases the overall skills and performance of the teams and also the development of talent.
• Develop and deliver an effective people plan for Emiratisation.

Master's degree relating to business, leadership or finance/economics.

10 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 5 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the Channel Leadership function.
