Regional Head

Our client is a well-established organisation in the UAE looking for an experienced Regional Head to lead and grow their Abu Dhabi operations This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the commercial operational and financial performance of the Abu Dhabi business The successful candidate will play a key role in developing the regional strategy driving new business and expanding into new sectors and markets

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales and operational strategy for the Abu Dhabi region with a strong focus on business growth profitability operational efficiency and client relationships

• Developing and executing strategic sales and business development plans to achieve growth and revenue targets
• Identifying new industries sectors services and market opportunities to expand the business
• Managing and developing key strategic accounts ensuring strong relationships service delivery and account growth
• Leading negotiations with new and existing clients and securing commercially favourable contracts
• Taking ownership of the Abu Dhabi business plan budgets revenue and profitability
• Overseeing the operational delivery of new and existing contracts including mobilisation recruitment and resource planning
• Driving workforce utilisation resource optimisation and cost efficiencies across the business
• Developing operational KPIs and ensuring performance against commercial and operational targets
• Working closely with senior leadership and other regional teams to maximise resource utilisation and business opportunities
• Leading developing and motivating the wider team including performance management coaching and succession planning
• Representing the business at industry events conferences and networking opportunities
• Ensuring all operations comply with relevant UAE regulations company policies and governance requirements

The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded senior leader with a strong track record of business growth, sales leadership and operational management

• 10+ years' professional and management experience.
• Proven experience in a senior Commercial, Sales, Business Development or General Management position.
• Experience managing large commercial contracts and strategic client relationships.
• Strong understanding of business strategy, financial management and P&L performance.
• A demonstrable track record of delivering sales growth and business development.
• Experience leading sizeable teams and managing operational functions.
• Strong understanding of the UAE/GCC market.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
