We are seeking a passionate and proactive Community & Outreach Specialist to build, engage, and grow our community while strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and ecosystem participants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating meaningful engagement initiatives, organizing community programs, and representing the organization across various outreach activities.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and a genuine passion for community development and engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute community engagement and outreach strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, partners, educational institutions, industry groups, and stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage events, workshops, webinars, networking sessions, and community programs.
- Create and implement initiatives to increase community participation and engagement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries and feedback.
- Manage community communication channels, including social media platforms, newsletters, and online forums.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships that support organizational goals.
- Track and report community growth, engagement metrics, and outreach effectiveness.
- Gather insights from community members and provide recommendations to improve programs and services.
- Represent the organization at external events, conferences, and industry gatherings.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in community management, outreach, partnerships, public relations, marketing, or stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Experience organizing events and managing community programs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and community engagement tools.
- Experience working with startups, innovation ecosystems, nonprofits, educational institutions, or community-focused organizations.
- Knowledge of CRM and community management platforms.
- Content creation and social media marketing experience.
- Partnership development and stakeholder management expertise.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
