- Collaborate with management on menu planning and sourcing fresh ingredients.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and managing supply stock levels.
- Develop new and innovative recipes to enhance the dining menu offerings.
- Conduct regular kitchen staff meetings to discuss methods and service improvements.
- Handle and resolve any kitchen operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Manage food cost by implementing budgeting and portion control measures.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure timely delivery of services by coordinating efficiently with the serving staff.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in Indian cuisine is essential.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in related culinary practices.
- Exceptional understanding of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work effectively under high‑stress conditions and long hours if necessary.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee kitchen staff.
