WHAT’STHE ROLE ?
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager – Events to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing event sales opportunities for DXB LIVE. The role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, cultivating strong client relationships, expanding market presence, and consistently achieving sales targets across the events portfolio.
WHAT DOESTHE ROLE INVOLVE?
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, government, and private events.
- Conduct market research to identify sales trends and client segments.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry to contract closure.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key clients to generate repeat business.
- Conduct regular client visits and presentations.
- Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and pitch decks based on client requirements.
- Lead negotiations to close deals while ensuring profitability and alignment with internal policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, design, operations) for solution development.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Track KPIs and ensure performance meets DXB LIVE’s commercial goals.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts.
- Work closely with production, creative, finance, and project management teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Attend internal meetings, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and provide insights on market demand.
- Represent DXB LIVE at industry events, networking forums, and exhibitions.
- This role involves travel and extended hours during major events and exhibitions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field.
- An MBA is an advantage.
- 5–7 years of sales experience in the events industry within the UAE/GCC.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets in event production, corporate events, government tenders, or the MICE sector.
- Strong understanding of event production, staging, audio-visual solutions, and end-to-end event execution.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and manage high-value clients.
- Awareness of market trends in events and the competitor landscape.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in proposal writing.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
