Job Overview

The Senior Sales Engineer – Telecom & Security Systems is a key role, reporting to the Sales Manager responsible for our business across the Middle East region. The focus is Telecom & Security Systems. The position is based in Abu Dhabi and is part of the Sales‑Contracting Team (Oil and Gas) focused on expanding our footprint and customer base across the MEA region.

• Chase, qualify and close new sales opportunities by creating competitive, high‑quality proposals.
• Participate in tendering and bidding processes.
• Differentiating Johnson Controls by leveraging deep market knowledge of competitors.
• Seek and develop long‑term customer relationships and drive territory growth.
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously with excellent planning and time‑management skills.

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications.
• Minimum 5‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record for delivering sales targets in the UAE region focusing on Telecom & Security systems (e.g., Access Control, CCTV, Data LAN, Intercom, Pipeline leak detection, PAVA, Intruder Alarm, Telephone System, DWDM, Radio Systems, Integrated AI platforms).
• Ability to design technical solutions, select equipment and advise customers on solutions.
• Sound business and technical knowledge.
• High‑energy personality with a go‑getter attitude; enjoys working in a fast‑paced, dynamic industry.
• Strong sales drive and results‑oriented.
• Fluent in English;
  Arabic language skills preferred.
• UAE driving licence.
