Job Summary
The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales of new and pre-owned vehicles by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. This role requires strong product knowledge, customer relationship skills, and the ability to deliver a premium buying experience that aligns with dealership and brand standards.
Area of Responsibility Sales & Business Development- Achieve monthly and annual vehicle sales targets.
- Prospect new clients through referrals, cold calls, and showroom walk-ins.
- Actively participate in sales events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Conduct professional consultations to identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the buying journey.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all vehicle models, features, specifications, and finance options.
- Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives to showcase performance and features.
- Stay updated on competitor products and market trends.
- Prepare quotations, sales contracts, and finance/insurance documentation.
- Ensure all transactions comply with dealership policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with finance, insurance, and registration teams to finalize deals.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems for leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales performance and pipeline status.
- Adhere to brand guidelines, ethical sales practices, and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 4–6 years of sales experience (automotive industry experience preferred).
