Job Summary The Rental Sales Engineer - Generators
Responsible for developing and managing generator rental business opportunities, identifying new clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and providing technical and commercial solutions for temporary power requirements. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction across construction, oil & gas, events, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Sales / Business Development
:
Identify and develop new rental business opportunities for diesel generators and temporary power solutions. Generate leads through site visits, networking, referrals, and market research. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, project managers, and end users. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Promote generator rental services, load banks, transformers, fuel tanks, and related equipment. - Technical / Commercial Support
:
Assess customer power requirements and recommend suitable generator rental solutions. Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and rental agreements. Coordinate with operations and technical teams for equipment deployment and installation. Provide customers with technical guidance regarding generator sizing, synchronization, load requirements, and power distribution. Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of generator rental applications and temporary power solutions.
- Experience 3–5 years of experience in generator rental sales, power rental solutions, or related industrial equipment sales.
- Experience in the UAE rental industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of diesel generators, load banks, transformers, synchronization systems, and power distribution equipment.
