About the OpportunityA leading manufacturer of engineered pumping solutions is seeking an experienced Middle East Sales Manager to drive business growth across the Gulf region. Based in Abu Dhabi, this role will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with key customers and EPC contractors, and managing sales activities throughout the Middle East oil & gas and petrochemical markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused sales professional with a strong technical background and proven experience selling high-value engineered equipment into the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Iraq.
- Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, EPC contractors, consultants and channel partners.
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through quotation, technical and commercial negotiations, and order award.
- Work closely with engineering and internal sales teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines and CRM records.
- Support and manage local sales agents to maximise market penetration and revenue growth.
- Secure and maintain approved vendor status with strategically important customers.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences and customer events.
- Identify aftermarket, service and upgrade opportunities within the installed customer base.
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (HND, Diploma or Degree).
- Proven sales experience within the oil & gas, petrochemical or process industries.
- Successful track record selling engineered capital equipment.
- Strong understanding of Middle East project sales cycles.
- Experience delivering technical and commercial presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across the Gulf region.
- Experience with centrifugal pumps and rotating equipment.
- Knowledge of API 610 pump applications and specifications.
- Experience working with EPC contractors and major end users.
- Understanding of commercial contracts and tendering processes.
- Previous experience managing distributors or sales agents.

You will combine strong technical understanding with commercial acumen and be comfortable operating independently across a diverse regional territory.
