About the RoleOur client is looking for a driven and commercially minded Growth Executive to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This is a pure new business role focused on opening new shipper accounts, building a strong sales pipeline, and converting freight relationships into booked revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Own and grow the Abu Dhabi market by identifying, approaching, and winning new shipper accounts.
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, market mapping, referrals, cold outreach, and client meetings.
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Convert existing freight relationships and market connections into active business.
- Understand client shipping requirements and coordinate internally to propose suitable logistics solutions.
- Promote multi‑modal freight solutions across land, ocean, and air transportation.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, client segments, and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, commercial proposals, and sales updates.
- Negotiate with prospective clients and support the closing of new business.
- Track sales activity, opportunities, performance metrics, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with operations, product, and leadership teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to go‑to‑market initiatives, campaigns, and territory development plans.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or growth roles within B2B freight, logistics, land transportation, ocean freight, freight forwarding, or transportation companies.
- Strong new business hunting experience, with a proven ability to open and win new accounts.
- Existing and transferable client relationships within the Abu Dhabi freight or logistics market.
- Experience carrying and achieving revenue or sales targets.
- Strong understanding of freight sales, shipper needs, rates, commercial discussions, and client decision‑making.
- Ability to generate leads, qualify opportunities, manage a pipeline, and close deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client‑facing skills.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools to track activities, prospects, and performance.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally with internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English is required;
Arabic is preferred. - Must already be based in Abu Dhabi.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
The successful candidate will be a self‑starter who enjoys building a market from the ground up. They should be commercially sharp, confident in front of clients, and able to turn relationships into revenue. This is not an account management role; it is best suited for someone who enjoys prospecting, opening doors, negotiating, and winning new business.
