Sr. Specialist Business Development

The Senior Specialist – Business Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities within the UAE, building lasting customer relationships, and supporting the delivery of world‑class range services to defense and commercial clients.
Key Accountabilities- Partner with the Head of Business Development to manage and expand the UAE customer portfolio, developing new clients and strengthening existing relationships to drive both short‑term and long‑term sales opportunities.
- Contribute to monthly and annual order intake targets by securing UAE sales that support company revenue and profit goals.
- Collaborate with the Bidding and Commercial teams to create competitive, customer‑focused proposals for bespoke defense and commercial projects.
- Proactively market XRANGE to new customer segments across the UAE, supporting marketing and communications campaigns, and representing REMAYA at key industry events and trade shows.
- Develop and maintain a credible CRM sales pipeline, tracking progress against in‑year order intake commitments and forecasts.
- Support the Go‑To‑Market Strategy review, customer planning cycles, and sales forecasting for future projects.
- Prepare and contribute to monthly business development reports, sales performance updates, and XRANGE customer utilization insights for management review.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the defense, aerospace, or government contracting sectors in the UAE.
- Proven success in identifying, developing, and closing high‑value opportunities within complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong understanding of UAE defense ecosystem, procurement channels, and customer engagement practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior stakeholder levels.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite; experience with EDGE systems is an advantage.
