Job purpose
To drive EV vehicle sales by understanding customer needs, providing expert product knowledge and delivering a high-quality showroom experience. The Sales Consultant is responsible for converting leads into sales, promoting electric vehicle features and benefits, and supporting the growth of the EV brand through excellent customer engagement and satisfaction.
Job responsibilities- Actively sell department products, meeting targets for new cars, accessories, warranties, finance and insurance products.
- Ensure the Sales Consultant meets the SSI commitment set by management.
- Follow all steps of the sales process: prospecting, meeting and greeting, consultation, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, gaining commitment, closure, delivery and post‑sales follow‑up.
- Ensure documentation complies with company policy.
- Liaise closely with other departments to complete the sales process.
- Report daily activities to the Sales Supervisor/Manager.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while maximizing profit from each transaction.
- Close maximum opportunities while maintaining and increasing the existing customer base.
- Assist customers with finance and insurance products as per their requirements.
- Follow up with customers in a timely manner.
- Participate in sales meetings.
- Meet customer expectations.
- Schedule follow‑ups, delivery and new customer acquisition utilizing strong time management.
- Assist customers in making the correct choice of vehicle and build loyalty through a personalized and tailored sales experience.
- Achieve SSI (Sales Satisfaction Index) targets by providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure accurate collection and submission of customer details.
- Build, grow and maintain good relationships with customers.
- Ensure smooth, clean, defect‑free delivery of sold vehicles as promised.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- Bachelor's or Diploma (or equivalent) in a related field.
2–3 years of sales experience in the automobile or related industry.
Preferred ExperienceSales experience in EVs.
Competencies- Computer proficient.
- Good communication skills.
English.
