The Senior International Partnerships Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of B2G sales strategies and the expansion of Alef Education’s customer and partners base. This role is accountable for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strategic customer relationships, managing B2G sales pipelines, and achieving revenue targets. The Manager will work closely with the Director of International Partnerships and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial engagement through implementation and ongoing account growth.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute B2G sales strategies that support Alef’s commercial objectives and growth ambitions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and customer segments.
- Build and maintain a healthy B2G sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Contribute to annual B2G sales planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Business Development
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, industry events, partnerships, digital channels and direct outreach.
- Conduct market research to identify new customers, sectors and expansion opportunities.
- Develop compelling value propositions aligned to customer challenges and strategic priorities.
- Build strategic relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.
- B2G Sales Cycle Management
- Manage the full B2G sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contract execution and handover.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer requirements.
- Prepare commercial proposals, business cases and tender responses.
- Lead commercial negotiations while ensuring alignment with company objectives and governance requirements.
- Maintain accurate B2G sales records, forecasts and pipeline reporting within CRM systems.
- Account Management & Customer Success
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to support long‑term retention and growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross‑selling and account expansion.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business objectives and educational priorities.
- Support customer success initiatives by collaborating with implementation, training and support teams.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, industry associations and strategic partners.
- Engage with ministerial offices and senior government representatives to align initiatives with national priorities, regulatory requirements and digital transformation agendas.
- Develop and manage ambassadorial and diplomatic relationships to support market entry, partnership development and cross‑border collaboration opportunities.
- Represent the organization in high‑level stakeholder engagements, forums and executive meetings, ensuring effective communication of strategic objectives and value propositions.
- Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to facilitate decision‑making, remove barriers to implementation and drive successful project outcomes.
- Reporting & Performance Management
- Track and report on B2G sales performance against agreed KPIs and targets.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Produce regular management reports and commercial updates.
- Drive continuous improvement of B2G sales processes, tools and methodologies.
- Set, monitor and share performance data and dashboards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, B2G sales, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Postgraduate qualification or professional certification is desirable.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business diplomacy, B2G sales, business development, account management or commercial roles.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience with in Education, EdTech, SaaS, Technology or Digital Solutions environments is preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working with public sector and education customers is advantageous.
- Regional networks and relationships and ability to navigate complex external stakeholder environments.
- Experience working with CSR and funding agents locally and internationally.
- Native Arabic or French communication skills (reading, writing, verbal).
- Exceptional English communication skills (reading, writing, verbal, presentation).
