Renewables Business Developer to support our commercial growth and energy transition ambitions in the AMEA markets.
In this new role, you’ll help diversify our customer base across AMEA with large‑scale solar, wind, and BESS plants (in development or in operation).
You will join a passionate team of 4 Business Developers and report directly to the Regional Head of Sales.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Actively acquire new customers by developing trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders in renewables operations, and initiating strategic conversations that lead to new opportunities.
- Lead first rounds of conversations with decision makers to uncover operational pain points. You will then involve senior business developers to translate these pain points into actionable input for internal experts, ensuring all proposals align with customer objectives and constraints.
- Help co‑create tailored technical solutions in close collaboration with Laborelec’s subject matter experts, acting as the customer’s voice throughout the solution design process.
- Promote long‑term value by prioritizing sustainable partnerships over short‑term wins and by delivering solutions with real business impact.
- Position and promote Laborelec’s solar, wind, and BESS renewable services across the region.
- Give support to the entire commercial process from prospecting to contract negotiation.
You will receive commercial mentoring by the local team and have the opportunity to evolve into a senior account management position, driving growth in renewable energy solutions across the AMEA region.
YOUR PROFILE- Education & Experience:
Engineering degree with less than Engie and other 5 years of experience in a technical / commercial role in renewables energy (solar, wind, BESS). - Proven experience in Business Development.
- Consultative mindset: focused on understanding customer challenges and co‑developing impactful solutions.
- Technical affinity:
Ability to understand technical solutions and have relevant technical conversations with customers. - Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills and fluent English speaker. - Mobility:
Willingness to travel frequently within the AMEA region.
