A Scaffolding Sales Engineer drives revenue by identifying construction project opportunities, analyzing architectural drawings, and delivering tailored scaffolding and formwork solutions. They manage client accounts, prepare technical quotations, and negotiate contracts while coordinating between engineering and logistics teams to ensure on‑time delivery and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new client leads within the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Technical Proposals: Analyze structural drawings and architectural plans to design customized, safe, and cost‑effective scaffolding systems.
- Quotations & Negotiation: Prepare accurate cost estimates, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and secure profitable sales agreements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate directly with internal Engineering Teams and logistics departments to ensure accurate fulfillment and timely delivery on‑site.
- Client & Account Management: Provide expert technical support, address on‑site client queries, and foster long‑term customer relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 5-8 years of B2B technical sales experience in scaffolding, formwork, or shoring systems.
- Technical Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP 2000, and CRM platforms.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, compelling presentation skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively with construction managers and contractors
