Damen is a global leader in the maritime industry, delivering innovative vessel solutions and services to customers around the world. As part of our continued growth in the Middle East, we are looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused Sales Manager to strengthen our regional sales team.

As a Sales Manager
, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across assigned territories in the Middle East
. You will build and maintain strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, negotiate commercial agreements, and act as the primary point of contact for customers across the Damen portfolio. The role requires a proactive approach to business development and a strong ability to manage stakeholders across different levels and cultures.

• Develop and execute sales and business development activities within assigned territories.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, agents, government entities, port operators, contractors, and marine companies.
• Identify market opportunities and convert leads into commercial success.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including engineering, legal, finance, services, and project teams.
• Monitor market developments and provide strategic commercial insights to management.
• Represent Damen at industry events, trade fairs, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Support customers throughout the sales lifecycle, including after-sales activities and issue resolution.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a commercial role in the Middle East.
• Experience with in the maritime, marine, offshore, shipbuilding, or capital goods industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic a plus.

• Experience working within the Middle East market.
• Arabic or Dutch language proficiency.
• Existing network within the maritime or industrial sectors.
• Experience working with government entities, port operators, or marine service companies.
