- Study and analyze relationships among organisms in the marine environment.
- Assess the impacts of anthropogenic activities on marine ecosystems.
- Support the planning and implementation of artificial reef programs, coral relocation, and other marine habitat compensation initiatives.
- Liaise with environmental consultants and service providers during program implementation.
- Advise project teams on marine environmental requirements and best practices.
- Collect biological data and specimens and conduct scientific analyses.
- Monitor the health of translocated corals, artificial reefs, and other compensated habitats.
- Study the effects of pollution on marine life and aquatic habitats.
- Monitor and manage wildlife populations, including invasive plant and animal species.
- Develop conservation plans and provide recommendations to NMDC and project management.
- Assist in meetings and coordination with consultants and contractors implementing marine environmental programs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Biology
, Marine Ecology
, or a related field. - Minimum 5-7 years of experience in similar role. Experience in marine environmental monitoring, coral relocation, or artificial reef projects is highly desirable.
- Experience in dredging and civil marine industry is highly preferred.
