We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bakery Chef with strong expertise in traditional Indian and Pakistani breads such as naan, chapati, paratha, kulcha and tandoor roti. This is a field‑oriented role requiring hands‑on technical support, product testing and close engagement with customers to promote and optimize the company’s flour portfolio. The ideal candidate will work closely with bakeries, restaurants and food service clients to demonstrate product applications, conduct trials, troubleshoot baking challenges and provide technical guidance to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Conduct on‑site baking trials and product testing using company flour products at customer locations: restaurants, tandoors, bakeries, catering units.
- Re‑troubleshoot baking challenges and provide practical solutions related to dough handling, texture, consistency and yield optimization.
- Perform live baking demonstrations to showcase product performance and educate customers on optimal usage.
- Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams to test new flour blends and product formulations.
- Support in‑house lab trials and validation processes.
- Participate in new product development, particularly for flatbreads and specialty breads.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to monitor industry trends, pricing and product offerings.
- Provide technical feedback from the market to support continuous product quality and performance improvements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Support internal teams by delivering technical training and product knowledge sessions.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in preparing traditional flatbreads, including:
Naan, Chapati / Roti, Paratha, Kulcha, Tandoor Roti. - Deep understanding of: dough fermentation processes, flour functionality and performance, tandoor and flatbread baking techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving ability within a commercial kitchen or bakery environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a pleasant and professional personality.
- Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef / Baker / Roti Maker in Indian or Pakistani restaurants or commercial bakeries.
- Experience working with different flour types and baking conditions is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a flour mill, food manufacturing or technical bakery role will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork across UAE/GCC.
- Flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory, company car and fuel will be provided.
