Agronomist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Agronomist to join our agricultural team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agronomy with experience in crop production, soil management and pest control.

• Develop and implement crop production plans in line with best practices and industry standards.
• Monitor and maintain soil health through regular testing and analysis.
• Identify and manage pests and diseases through effective control measures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
• Train and supervise junior agronomists and farm workers.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize farm operations and increase productivity.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in agricultural technology and techniques.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Agronomist or similar role.
• Knowledge of crop production methods, pest control strategies, and soil management techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

The salary for this position is 1,700$ per month. Additional benefits may be offered based on experience.

This position is based in Abu Dhabi. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.
