Contract Agronomist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agronomist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Contract Agronomist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on all aspects of crop production and management. This is a contract position, ideal for Indian professionals with excellent English speaking skills.

• Conduct field visits to assess crop conditions, identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop and implement crop management plans to optimize production and quality
• Monitor and analyze data on soil health, water usage, and pest control strategies
• Collaborate with farmers to understand their needs and provide technical support as needed
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to improve farming practices
• Prepare reports on crop performance, challenges faced, and recommended solutions

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in crop production and management
• Strong knowledge of plant science, soil health, irrigation techniques, pest control methods
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel within Abu Dhabi region
