Junior Agronomist
We are a leading agricultural company in Abu Dhabi, seeking a Junior Agronomist to join our team. As a Junior Agronomist, you will work under the supervision of senior agronomists and assist in all aspects of crop production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for agriculture and a desire to learn and grow in their career.
Responsibilities- Conduct field visits to observe and monitor crop growth and health
- Collect and analyze soil, water, and plant samples
- Assist in developing and implementing pest control strategies
- Assist in designing irrigation systems and determining appropriate water usage
- Assist in creating fertilization plans based on crop needs
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot any issues or concerns
- Keep detailed records of all observations and data collected
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for agriculture and willingness to learn from senior agronomists
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Previous experience is not required but considered a plus
Salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
LocationThis job is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
PreferenceThis position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Indian candidates who speak English fluently.
