Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across various projects, including EV charging stations, renewable energy systems, and general electrical infrastructure. The role requires a hands-on individual with strong technical expertise, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:1. Electrical Installation and Maintenance
- Perform electrical wiring, cable termination, and panel installations for LV systems.
- Install and maintain EV charging stations, distribution boards, and power systems.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Use testing tools (e.g., multimeters, meggers, and clamp meters) to diagnose faults and assess system performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide timely resolutions to ensure system reliability.
- Perform continuity and insulation resistance tests to verify electrical integrity.
- Ensure all work adheres to UAE regulations, including DEWA, ADDC, or SEWA standards, and relevant international codes.
- Follow strict safety protocols, including lockout-tagout (LOTO), proper use of PPE, and adherence to HSE guidelines.
- Conduct safety inspections before and after installation or maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, tests, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Report safety hazards, project progress, and any issues to the relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical systems, tools, and local authority requirements.
- Attend training sessions provided by the company to enhance technical and safety knowledge.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in electrical systems is preferred.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in LV electrical systems, wiring, cable termination, and panel installations.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers, earth testers).
- Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and standards (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA).
- DEWA or ADDC technician certification.
