Functional Co-ordination:Installation Operation and Maintenance Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Performinstallation, replacement and maintenance of AMI smart gas residential and commercial gas meters at residential buildings, restaurants and commercialfacilities.
- Assist in EVC(Electronic Volume Corrector) installation, configuration and testing,including base pressure/temperature and flow verification undersupervision.
- Operate, inspect,and maintain PRMS equipment, including pressure regulators, valves,filters and associated instrumentation.
- Conduct leakdetection, tightness testing, pressure monitoring and functional checks ofgas meters and associated systems.
- Support thecalibration, testing and troubleshooting of field instruments and measurement devices.
- Follow site work instructions, method statements and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures always ensuring safe operations.
- Maintain accuratesite logs, maintenance records and asset documentation under supervision of Site Supervisor.
- Report equipment malfunctions, abnormal readings and HSE hazards promptly to supervisors orengineers.
- Assist in emergency response activities, including gas leak isolation, purging and safetyshutdowns.
- Ensure properhandling, storage and care of tools, equipment and meters maintainingoperational readiness.
- Cooperate with QCand HSE personnel during inspections, audits and testing to ensure compliance with standards.
- Participate inon-the-job training and skill development programs to enhance technical proficiency and safety awareness.
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related technical discipline.
- Gas-related training or certifications are an advantage.
- Basic knowledge ofAMI smart meters, EVCs and PRMS operations preferred.
- 2–5 years of field experience in city gas distribution, utilities, or oil & gasoperations.
- Hands-on experience in meter installation, maintenance and gas distribution system operation sis highly preferred.
- Familiarity with
ADNOC HSE procedures, PTW systems and technical documentation.
