Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, operate, and record readings of electrical feeding boards, distribution boards, LV panels, switchgears, busway systems, emergency generators, and UPS systems through manual inspections and BMS.
- Monitor and log electrical load readings for client equipment on a 2-hourly and daily basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle AC and DC power systems, including rectifiers, ensuring safe and reliable power delivery to client devices.
- Monitor, record, and analyze temperature and humidity levels of HVAC systems manually and via BMS.
- Perform daily health checks of all critical facilities equipment including UPS, generators, LV systems, BMS, DCIM, controllers, and ELV systems, maintaining accurate logs and reports.
- Operate and maintain electrical systems, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and associated mechanical equipment in a mission-critical environment.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, safety regulations, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
- Work in 24x7 shift operations, supporting continuous uptime requirements of data center facility
- management.
- Understand and prioritize business continuity and uptime criticality in a data center environment.
- Extract, analyze, and report data from BMS, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Alarm systems, providing reports to engineers and clients upon request.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for central air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and cold rooms.
- Inspect and maintain air conditioning units, pumps, piping networks, and HVAC infrastructure to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Install, commission, and perform follow-up activities for new air conditioning systems.
- Conduct routine cleaning and replacement of air conditioning filters.
- Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Calibrate thermostats, sensors, and control systems to maintain optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, minimizing downtime and service impact.
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, HVAC drawings, and piping schematics.
- Fabricate or modify parts when spares are not immediately available.
- Coordinate and execute maintenance tasks in accordance with line manager directives and SLAs.
- Support FM operations with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
- Assist with HVAC system design and implementation, providing technical support as required.
