Job Description

Royal Joinery has its own dedicated workshop to assist clients on high-profile projects that require international expertise and craftsmanship which eliminates the need to source subcontractors and third‑party furniture suppliers. Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialties across various projects and sectors through the delivery of sophisticated, qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.

• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings of joinery elements, including cabinets, doors, windows, and custom‑made furniture. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
• Prepare shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand the overall design concept and requirements.
• Propose joinery solutions that align with the design vision and meet functional needs.
• Coordinate with other trades involved in the project to ensure seamless integration of joinery elements.
• Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for joinery components. Consider factors such as durability, aesthetics, and budget when making material choices.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs for joinery materials and components. Provide cost estimates for joinery work based on quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements, review existing conditions, and address any issues related to joinery installation.
• Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring that joinery work is completed on time and within budget. Monitor the progress of joinery fabrication and installation, resolving any issues that may arise.

• Diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a draughtsman in the joinery and interior fit‑out industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Deep understanding of interior fit‑out and joinery processes, materials, and construction techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• 4–6 years of joinery draughting experience in the GCC/UAE is mandatory.
