We are looking for a Cable Laying Supervisor to join our growing team at Star Services LLC.

As a Cable Laying Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication cables. You will work closely with our team of cable technicians, manage day‑to‑day operations of cable laying projects, and ensure that safety protocols are followed. You will also be responsible for meeting project deadlines and staying within budget.

• Manage and supervise a team of cable technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication cables
• Plan and schedule cable laying projects, ensuring that all deadlines are met
• Conduct site surveys and prepare reports for new cable installations
• Coordinate with clients and other contractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the management team
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Train and mentor new cable technicians
• Maintain accurate records of project expenses and materials used
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during cable laying projects
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that all work meets industry standards

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cable laying or a related field
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred
• Knowledge of telecommunication cable installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
• Familiarity with industry safety protocols and regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
• Proficient in using basic hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

This is a full‑time position that may require working on weekends and evenings. The Cable Laying Supervisor will primarily work on outdoor job sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical labor. The role may also involve traveling to different project locations.
