We re looking for a skilled and hands‑on freelance field technician to install and service Smart Hoist systems across job sites in the United Arab Emirates. You ll be the face of our technology on the ground, bringing safety, productivity, and efficiency to life through every install. You ll troubleshoot, fine‑tune and empower construction teams with tools that change the way they work forever.

• Set up and calibrate Smart Hoist s plug‑and‑play systems at high‑rise and mid‑rise sites
• Ensure seamless connectivity between hardware, cloud systems, and on‑site teams

• Train Crews
• Troubleshoot on the spot, solving issues fast to keep hoists moving
• Provide feedback on system use so our tech keeps getting smarter

• Act as Smartsite s field presence, reliable, professional, and trusted
• Share on‑site insights with our engineering and customer success teams

• Experience with low voltage electronics, sensors, or cabling required
• Comfort with tools, site environments, and safety protocols
• Strong problem‑solver, fast learner, and clear communicator
• Freelance flexibility, you like variety and can commit to short‑term projects on‑demand

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with low voltage electronics, sensors, IoT devices, or structured cabling
• Comfortable working on active construction sites – high‑rise and mid‑rise environments
• Familiar with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and site access procedures
• Able to install, calibrate, and troubleshoot plug‑and‑play hardware systems independently
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues on the spot with minimal supervision
• Clear communicator – able to train site crews and relay field insights to remote engineering teams
• Freelance availability with flexibility to take on short‑term, on‑demand project assignments across the UAE
• Valid UAE residency with own transport preferred
• Bonus:
  Prior exposure to hoist systems, construction lifts, CCTV, access control, or smart building systems
