About the JobWe have an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to join our team at Yas Plaza Hotels. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
About You- High School Certificate with emphasis in Technical Trades
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the hotel industry
- Basic skills in woodwork, fixtures, furniture, gypsum board, doors, cabinets, and carpentry work. Decorations, painting, and polishing are advantages.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e. Lockout Tag out, JSA’s), safety awareness information, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports, keep logs and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with colleagues and guests
